Rafting on the Iskar River

Rafting on the Iskar River

Rafting on the Iskar River is an interesting way to discover the beauty of the Iskar Gorge, accompanied by a pinch of adrenaline.

The difficulty of the Iskar River rapids in the spring approaches the 3rd category, and in the summer - the 2nd (the maximum difficulty category is 6). This allows anyone, regardless of age, prior preparation and experience, to descend with a raft into the most attractive and safe part of the Iskar Gorge.

All rafting participants are required to be equipped with a life jacket, helmet and neoprene boots. In cold and rainy weather, neoprene overalls and a waterproof jacket are worn. The equipment is disinfected after each use!

The base operates seasonally from April to October. Descents are made in the morning and afternoon every day with at least 4 participants registered.

The duration of the rafting is between an hour and a half and two hours.

Each crew is led by a qualified rafting instructor.

The base has:

  • Stationary changing rooms
  • Toilets
  • Summer showers
  • Private secure parking
